CONSULTATION ON DIETS REARING SYSTEMS IMPROVEMENTS

Mealworms growing on new diet being developed for The Bug Company to help improve the nutritional value and vigor of insects used as feeders for pets and zoo animals	Laricobius nigrinus, a predator of adelgids, feeding on a newly developed artificial diet. These are some of the projects we are doing with the USDA, Forest Service, USDA, ARS, USDA, APHIS, and several private companies with whom we provide consultation services.
Project to develop artificial diet for predators of hemlock woolly adelgids funded by the USDA, Forest Service. Project conducted in collaboration with Dr. Carole Cheah, Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station.	Rhinoncomimus latipes (mile-a-minute weevil) on artificial diet, shown piling up frass and discarded diet as they do with host plant (weed project).
